Krystal Reopening - Parent Message
Updated automatically every 5 minutes

Good afternoon Krystal families!  We are so excited for your students to return to us full day, 5 days a week starting on Monday, April 26th.  Thank you for filling out the parent survey so that we can plan and prepare for most of our kiddos to be back on campus.  If you have not filled out our survey, please take some time to contact the office so we know your intent. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you are opting for distance learning if that is your current status, or full return if hybrid is your current status.

If you choose to keep or put your child on distance learning for the last five weeks of school, please be aware that their schedule will likely change.  There is also a possibility that their teacher will change, as our current staff will be working with students in person during the regular school day.  Now that we know how many students will be on distance learning, as well as how many in each grade level, we will be able to design our school plan accordingly.

As our superintendent Mr. Olney said in his message, we are keeping up with the safety protocols that the California Department of Public Health has set.  Students will be socially distanced, face coverings required, and frequent hand washing and sanitizing will be a priority.  Each student will have access to a plexiglass shield as well.  We have included frequent mask breaks in our schedules and plan to enjoy our beautiful outdoor areas as much as possible, weather permitting.

We will also continue to focus on safe and efficient morning drop off and afternoon dismissal procedures for all students.  When we have an official plan for dismissal, we will communicate it with all of you.

Thank you for all of your support as we have transitioned our Comets back on campus over the last few weeks!  We look forward to returning to our normal full day schedule and are so excited to see our students each and every day!
